Welcome to bàcaro, Cayman's only authentic Italian tapas restaurant and wine bar. Inspired by the traditional "Bacari" of Venice, their menu features delicious and affordable small plates prepared by their Venetian Chef/Owner Federico Destro. Choose from their menu of wines by the glass, or opt for a creative handcrafted cocktail - enjoyed inside their bright and airy avant-garde dining room, or out on the beautiful breezy terraces, overlooking the passing sailboats of the Cayman Islands Yacht Club.
Their extensive menu features a large selection of cichetti (nibbles), piccoli piatti (small plates), mezza via (medium plates) and grandi (large plates) to choose from that are perfect for sharing. The working crowd can take advantage of bàcaro's weekday $27 Express Lunch special for a quick and tasty bite to eat, and from 5pm-7pm Tuesday - Saturday, join them for Happy Hour specials on select drinks and tapas.
As the sun sets over the waterway, and Happy Hour segues into dinner, a few must-have dishes include the "Polpette in Urnido", Peppered and Smoked Wahoo Tonnato, Beetroot-Potato Gnocchi, Buffalo Milk Burrata "On Fire", and the Braised Lamb Shank Wellington. Afterwards, treat yourself to one of their sumptuous desserts or relocate to their spacious bar area for a digestif.
